WHAT IS THE PRIVACY POLICY OF PHILANTHROPEOPLE?

Pringle Search Group Pty Ltd, trading as PhilanthroPeople is committed to ensuring your privacy, complying with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APP).  The APPs regulate the handling of personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines our privacy practices, in respect of the personal data collected, held and used by us whether collected in person, by email, mail, telephone, fax or via this website. The use of this website is deemed acceptance of the terms and conditions of our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Policy, please do not use this site.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

PhilanthroPeople collects information in the course of its work in order to be able to provide services to our clients as an executive search and assessment firm. Typically, this information comprises what might be included in a curriculum vitae, (name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, nationality, language ability, employment and academic background, as well as interests and any other skills). Our records may derive information collected directly from you, information which is publicly available, as well as information gained from third-party sources, such as professional journals.

USE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

To carry out our executive search and assessment practices, we may discuss with a client the name and background of an individual, to assess the suitability of such a person to a specific role. This discussion in no way represents any prior relationship between PhilanthroPeople and the individual, nor any suggestion that the individual has been contacted about the position, or wishes to be submitted as a candidate. We may subsequently contact the individual about a specific role. We will only pass on your personal information to a client if you give your express consent to be considered as a candidate and authorise the release of the information.

 

PhilanthroPeople may share data it has collected with any person who is under a duty of confidentiality to PhilanthroPeople, any person to whom PhilanthroPeople is under a legal or regulatory obligation to make a disclosure or any corporate affiliate of PhilanthroPeople.

SECURITY OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal information collected by PhilanthroPeople is stored in our in-house record management systems: this may be by hard or soft copy or a combination. This information can only be accessed by our authorised employees and is not accessible by the public. We will provide you with access to your personal information unless we are legally authorised to refuse your request.

As professional and personal information changes over time, we welcome the opportunity to update the personal information we hold.
